2016 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist

Representing the Branson Elvis Festival

Dwight Icenhower began his career 18 years ago as a junior in high school performing in a high school musical. Since then, Dwight has traveled around the world with his tribute to Elvis Presley. He has been a fan of Elvis since he was young, when his mother introduced him to Elvis' music. He says being a tribute artist is a dream come true and to be recognized for his tribute is a real honor. His favorite Elvis song is "Are You Lonesome Tonight?"

Congratulations to second place winner Ben Thompson and third place winner Victor Trevino Jr., and top five finalists Pat Dunn and Travis Powell.

Contestants, like Dwight Icenhower of Florida, must win a preliminary round at an officially licensed location to be eligible to participate in the Semifinal Round held during Elvis Week in Memphis. Since 2007, winners have come from the states of Alabama, Illinois, Arkansas, Louisiana (2), Michigan, Missouri and one from the United Kingdom (England).
