Below are Elvis tribute artists who have won preliminary rounds of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest. The tribute artists posted on this page will travel to Memphis during Elvis Week 2017 to compete in the Semifinal Round of the 2017 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest.

Oliver Steinhoff

To Represent the Tweed Tribute to Elvis Festival at the Semifinal Round in Memphis
Born and raised in Germany, Oliver's love for Elvis developed early - he was only 8 years old when he discovered Elvis' music. Oliver is thankful he can share Elvis' music, life and memory with his own son. Paying a heartfelt and respectful tribute to the world's greatest entertainer is the best experience of Oliver's life, and it is a lifelong dream to be included in the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest. Oliver's favorite song is "Any Day Now."

Matt King

To Represent the Elvis FANtasy Festival at the Semifinal Round in Memphis
Matt King is from Leslie, Michigan. He was inspired to become an ETA after performing "Blue Suede Shoes" at a high school dance. Matt has performed his tribute to Elvis since 1992, and has won more than 30 Elvis tribute contests. He has performed all over the world. He says being a part of the Ultimate ETA Contest means the world to him. His favorite Elvis song is "My Way."

Diogo Light

To Represent the Ocean City Elvis Festival at the Semifinal Round in Memphis
Diogo Light is from Porto Alegre, Brazil. From the time he was a small child listening to his father's Elvis records, he's been a fan. He has read extensively about Elvis' life, studying his performances and singing style. He considers it a great honor and blessing to pay tribute to the greatest entertainer of all time. He has too many favorite Elvis songs to pick just one.

Brendon Chase

To Represent the Parkes Elvis Festival at the Semifinal Round in Memphis
Brendon Chase is from Auckland, New Zealand and has been performing as an Elvis Tribute Artist for over 20 years. His inspiration came from watching the “Aloha from Hawaii” television special as a child. Brendon says that being in the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest is a privilege and he is humbled to be involved and pay tribute to his favorite performer of all time. Brendon’s favorite Elvis song is “You Gave Me A Mountain.”   

Doug Church

To Represent Casino del Sol 's Elvis Weekend at the Semifinal Round in Memphis
Doug began his career in the U.S. Air Force, where he began performing his tribute to Elvis in talent shows held annually by the Air Force. After leaving the service, he joined the famous Las Vegas tribute Show "Legends in Concert" and worked with them for 7 years as the king. Doug travels extensively throughout the world performing with his band, “Kentucky Reign,” and has won numerous awards. His favorite Elvis song is “Burning Love.”

Tyler Hunter

To Represent Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City at the Semifinal Round in Memphis
Tyler grew up listening to Elvis music with his grandmother at an early age. He felt a huge connection to the music of Elvis Presley and it lead him to become an entertainer. Tyler says it’s an extreme honor to be a part of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist contest and he is proud to pay homage to the greatest entertainer of all time. Tyler’s favorite song is “After Loving You.” 

Tim E. Hendry

To Represent Georgia Elvis Festival at the Semifinal Round in Memphis
Tim is very honored and proud to be representing the 2017 Georgia Elvis Festival as its Grand Champion. Tim grew up watching Elvis movies and concerts and became a huge Elvis fan at a young age because of the influence of his late father, Diamond Jim. He considers it an honor and privilege to pay tribute to the greatest entertainer of all time, Elvis Presley. Tim has many favorite songs but his all-time favorite is "How Great Thou Art."

Mark Anthony

To Represent Nashville Elvis Festival at the Semifinal Round in Memphis
Mark Anthony of Adelaide, Australia, started performing as Elvis for a family member who had leukemia. From that performance, he built a series of productions designed by an Elvis fan for Elvis fans. Mark frequently travels the globe with his three shows, which celebrate Elvis and his career. Mark said it is a huge honor to be a part of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest, and that being a part of the contest feels like being part of a family. His favorite Elvis song is “If I Can Dream.”

Ben Thompson

To Represent the Branson Elvis Festival at the Semifinal Round in Memphis
Ben Thompson is from London, England, and he has been an Elvis fan since he was a child. He became an Elvis tribute artist at the age of 15 and has performed in many venues around the world. He is an international multi-award winning Elvis tribute artist and he takes pride in his tribute. This will be his fifth Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest, and he feels it is a great privilege to be a part of the contest. His favorite Elvis song is "If I Can Dream."

Daisuke Kiryu

To Represent the Elvis Tribute Artist Contest of Japan at the Semifinal Round in Memphis
Daisuke Kiryu is from Saitama, Japan. He decided to become an Elvis Tribute Artist after he watched "Aloha from Hawaii," which he found very inspirational. He performs as Elvis in Japan, and he is proud to be part of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest because he has so much respect for Elvis. His favorite Elvis song is “The Wonder of You."

Taylor Rodriguez

To Represent the Myrtle Beach Elvis Festival at the Semifinal Round in Memphis
While only 19 years old, Taylor Rodriguez has been performing Elvis' music for over 10 years. Taylor’s aunt Diane introduced him to Elvis as a young child. At just 9 years old, spurred on by his aunt, Taylor took a serious interest in learning about Elvis and studying the king's stage performances. With his aunt’s sudden passing in 2011, Taylor dedicated himself to paying tribute to Elvis and his aunt in the only way he knew how.  When not performing as Elvis, Taylor is a freshman at Lynchburg College studying performing arts. In addition to Elvis, Taylor enjoys performing in plays and musicals. His favorite Elvis song is "How Great Thou Art."

Bruno Nesci

To Represent the Niagara Falls Elvis Festival at the Semifinal Round in Memphis
Bruno Nesci of Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada, was inspired to become an Elvis tribute artist after watching an ETA perform at his parents' restaurant as a child. From that moment on, he has been hooked on Elvis' music and movies and his audience's reactions to his performances. He is passing on his love for Elvis to his step-children, and competing in the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest means the world to him. His favorite Elvis song is "You Gave Me a Mountain."

Al Joslin

To Represent Texas' Tribute to Elvis Festival at Semifinal Round in Memphis
Al Joslin is from Houston, Texas. Al has been performing for over 12 years and was inspired to become an Elvis tribute Artist after becoming an Elvis fan. Al has been impacted by Elvis and his music in such a powerful way, and it is his goal to give a respectful and sincere tribute to Elvis' enduring legacy. His favorite Elvis song is "Let It Be Me."

Cote Deonath

To Represent the Tupelo Elvis Festival at Semifinal Round in Memphis
Cote Deonath of Ocala, Florida, has been an Elvis tribute artist since he was 5 years old, when his grandparents introduced him to Elvis' music. He saw Brandon Bennett win the contest, which inspired him to compete. Cote has traveled the country performing his tribute, and said it is a dream come true to pay tribute to the greatest entertainer ever to live. His favorite Elvis song is "Good Rockin' Tonight."

Ted Torres Martin is an actor, singer, songwriter and musician from Orlando, Florida, who feels honored to represent the Lake George Elvis Festival in the Semifinal Round. Ted has toured the world performing his tribute to Elvis. His goal is to bring already-established Elvis fans and new Elvis fans alike the memories of Elvis on stage. Ted said he is an Elvis fan and can't pick just one favorite Elvis song.

Michael Cullipher

To Represent the Elvis Presley Continentals Festival at Semifinal Round in Memphis
Michael Cullipher of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, is a minister and member of a gospel group. He has been an Elvis fan since he was 4 years old, and he is inspired by Elvis' passion for music and love for God. He thanks God for the privilege to perform and bring back memories for fans, and he hopes to inspire future generations that will keep the music and memory of Elvis alive.  His favorite Elvis song is "If I Can Dream."

Corny Rempel

To Represent the Penticton Elvis Festival at Semifinal Round in Memphis
Corny Rempel is a morning radio DJ and voice actor from Steinbach, Manitoba, Canada. Audiences who enjoyed his Elvis impression suggested he become an Elvis tribute artist, and he has been a tribute artist now for 17 years. A lifelong Elvis fan, Corny says it's a dream come true to compete in the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest. His favorite Elvis song is "An American Trilogy."

Nic Nicolas

To Represent Viva Surfers Paradise at Semifinal Round in Memphis
Nic Nicolas of Sydney, Australia, works in the legal field and has been paying tribute to Elvis for 10 years, focusing on the '68 Special and Vegas Era. Nic became an Elvis fan as a child and decided to keep Elvis' music alive with his tribute performances. It means a lot to him to be a part of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest with other tribute artists who are at the top of their game and strive to provide a quality tribute true to Elvis. His favorite Elvis song is "Never Been to Spain."

Gordon Hendricks

To Represent the Collingwood Elvis Festival at Semifinal Round in Memphis
Gordon Hendricks of Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England, was a barber who became known as the "Singing Barber of Stoke," before becoming an Elvis Tribute Artist. He became a fan of Elvis as a child, and he loves paying tribute to the king. He says it's a dream come true for him to be in Memphis for the contest. His favorite Elvis song is "American Trilogy."

Ryan Pelton

To Represent the Hard Rock Last Chance Contest at Semifinal Round in Memphis
Ryan Pelton is an international, award-winning Elvis tribute artist, actor and singer/songwriter. He was dared to enter a local Elvis contest by his mother, and though he'd never sang publicly before, Ryan won. In the following 15 years, Ryan has performed all over the world and loves being a live music entertainer. Ryan recently starred in the movie "The Identical," also starring Ray Liotta and Ashely Judd. He says it’s a blessing to be a part of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest. His favorite Elvis song is “Pieces of My Life.”
