We look forward to welcoming fans from around the world as they make the ultimate pilgrimage to be with us during this annual celebration of the life and legacy of Elvis Presley. Join us in Memphis this August for the ultimate celebration of Elvis Presley.

Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest Showcase 

1:00 pm. Guest House Theater, Guest House at Graceland. $20
Join Ultimate Contest host Joey Sulipeck for a performance featuring some of our 2018 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest semifinalists as they show off why they will be competing for the title of Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist of 2018. Artists performing during this event will be announced later, but all will be 2018 Ultimate ETA Contest semifinalists. Tupelo, Mississippi – Birthplace of Elvis Presley Graceland Excursion

Departs The Guest House at Graceland at 8:30 a.m. and returns by 3:30 p.m. 
$99/adults; $79/children ages 5-12; children under 5 are not permitted.

While Elvis Presley became the biggest name in music history and achieved worldwide fame and fortune, his roots in the Northeast Mississippi city of Tupelo were humble. Guests will experience the rural setting of Elvis’ upbringing and see where it all began in the two-room house where the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll was born on January 8, 1935, the church he attended in his youth, and see artifacts from his modest beginnings. The Tupelo Graceland Excursion includes:

  • Elvis’ Birthplace: Designated as an historic landmark by the State of Mississippi, Elvis’ birthplace, a house built by his father for $180, draws visitors from all over the world and is part of the 15-acre Elvis Presley Park. In addition to the Birthplace, you’ll also tour the Elvis Presley Museum, Elvis’ childhood church, the “Walk of Life” trail tracing Elvis’ career and personal life and see the “Elvis at 13” statue, the Elvis Story Wall and Fountain of Life, representing the 13 years that Elvis lived in Tupelo before moving to Memphis with his family.
  • Driving Tour of Tupelo: Drive past some significant landmarks including The Tupelo Fairgrounds, the Elvis Homecoming Statue and schools that Elvis attended.
  • Lunch: A box lunch with sandwich, bottled water, potato chips and a cookie included.

Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest Meet 'n' Greet

 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Guest House at Graceland Ballroom. 
Meet and mingle with the 2018 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest semifinalists at a private reception reserved for those who have purchased VIP tickets for the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist events. The only way to get access to this event is by purchasing the $219 VIP ticket option for the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist event. Tickets for this event are on sale now as part of an Elvis Week ETA VIP package


Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest Semifinal Round 

7:00 p.m. Graceland Soundstage, Elvis Presley’s Memphis. $219, $139, $35
See the best Elvis tribute artists in the world perform on stage in the Semifinal Round of the 2018 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest as they compete for their chance to advance to the Final Round of the contest. Join ETA host Joey Sulipeck and our 2018 semifinalists as they pull out their jumpsuits and blue suede shoes for hours of music and entertainment. The top 10 Elvis tribute artists moving on to the Final Round of the competition will be announced at the end of the show and they will perform back at the Soundstage on August 12. Backing band for the semifinalists will be the EAS Band. Three-day ticket packages including tickets to the Semifinal Round, ETA Tour Show and Final Round are $219 (VIP) and $139. A ticket to the Semifinal Round only is also available for $35. Musical Landmarks of the Mississippi Delta Tour

Departs The Guest House at Graceland at 8:30 a.m. and returns by 6:30 p.m.

Rock ‘n’ roll has its roots in the music of the Mississippi Delta and blues and R&B artists such as B.B. King, Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, and Ike Turner. The Graceland Excursions Mississippi Delta tour will trace the influences that inspired the creation of rock ‘n’ roll music. Expert tour guides will narrate this day-long adventure that takes a detour down the backroads and explores the deep roots of blues culture and blues history, while discovering delicious foods and reliving a musical revolution powered by raw emotion. Delta Tour includes: 

  • Gateway to the Blues Museum: Learn the remarkable story of how the blues were born and the role Tunica and the Delta played in building the genre’s legacy. The museum features interactive exhibits, artwork and more, including a recording studio where you’ll learn the basics of blues music with a chance to record your very own blues song.
  • Delta Blues Museum: Explore the history and heritage of the unique American musical art form. The collection of artifacts at the museum includes musical instruments, recordings, sheet music, posters, photographs, costumes, folk art and much more. One of the largest pieces of the collection is the actual cabin where legendary blues artist Muddy Waters once lived.
  • Grammy Museum Mississippi: Located in Cleveland, MS, the museum is dedicated to exploring the past, present and future of music, and the cultural context from which it emerges, while casting a focused spotlight on the deep musical roots of Mississippi. The museum features educational programming, engaging multimedia presentations, and interactive permanent and traveling exhibits, including a Mississippi-centric display that introduces visitors to the impact of Mississippi’s songwriters, producers and musicians on the traditional and modern music landscape.
  • Southern Sounds at Dockery Farms: This historic site is where musicians invented the blues genre around the turn of the 20th century. It’s a mecca to blues enthusiasts and the home to Charley Patton, the "Father of the Blues."
  • Lunch: Lunch on your own in the Historic Crosstie Shopping and Dining Area in Cleveland, Mississippi.

Listening Party for "Where No One Stands Alone" Album Release featuring Lisa Marie Presley

Join Lisa Marie Presley for an exclusive launch party for the new “Where No One Stands Alone” gospel album. Celebrate this “once in a lifetime” moment with Lisa Marie as we listen to this powerful and emotional duet with her father of the album’s title track for the first time. Elvis Presley Fan Club Presidents’ Event 

10:00 AM. Graceland Soundstage, Elvis Presley’s Memphis. $25
Celebrate the world of Elvis Presley fan clubs at our bi-annual fan club event. The event will feature special programming that celebrates both Elvis and his dedicated fan clubs. Hosted by Elvis Radio DJ Argo, special guests for the event will be Rex and Elisabeth Mansfield. Rex Mansfield was inducted into the Army on the same day as Elvis in March 1958 and went through basic training with him in Texas, traveled with him to Germany and became close friends for the next 18 months. Elisabeth Stefaniak was a young German girl in 1958 and was hired to answer Elvis' fan mail. Elisabeth became romantically involved with Elvis but was torn between her love for Elvis and her love for Rex – and she eventually chose Rex and they married in 1960. Fan Club presidents will get an invite and registration form directly from EPE to attend the event. The Auction at Graceland

Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest Final Round

Enjoy a phenomenal show as the top 10 Elvis tribute artists from the Semifinal Round compete for the 2018 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest title. Hosted by ETA host Joey Sulipeck, the excitement will build throughout the night as the group is narrowed down from ten to five before the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist of 2018 is named. Backing band will be EAS Band. Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist 2017 Gordon Hendricks will also perform. Darlene Love in Concert

One of Rolling Stone’s 100 Greatest Singers of All Time, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and lead singer for The Blossoms, who sang with Elvis Presley in the "’68 Comeback Special," Darlene Love will rock the Graceland Soundstage in her first-ever appearance at Elvis Week, live in concert. Darlene and her band will perform the hits that made rock ‘n’ roll history, such as “He’s a Rebel,” “The Boy I’m Going to Marry” and “Da Doo Ron Ron,” plus a special tribute to Elvis. The Gospel Music of Elvis Presley Celebration Concert

Hosted by Andy Childs, join us for this very special event featuring those who spent many hours performing gospel music alongside Elvis, both on and off stage. Confirmed guests include: Dr. Emily "Cissy" Houston, who was a member of The Sweet Inspirations; former members of The Stamps Quartet, Ed Hill, Donnie Sumner, Bill Baize and Larry Strickland; and Terry Blackwood, Jimmy Murray and Armond Morales, who performed with Elvis as part of The Imperials. A Musical Salute to Elvis

This concert the afternoon before the Candlelight Vigil will celebrate both Elvis’ music, and the music that influenced him. Starring Rockabilly and Outlaw Country artist Dale Watson. Candlelight Vigil  

8:30 PM. Graceland Front Gate.
After an opening ceremony at the Gates of Graceland, fans are invited to walk up the driveway to Elvis' gravesite and back down carrying a candle in quiet remembrance. Gates remain open until all who wish to participate in the procession have done so, which typically takes until the early morning hours of August 16, the anniversary of Elvis' passing. Security check points will be in place to access the street in front of Graceland Mansion, and an Elvis Week Property Pass will be required to enter the procession line up to Meditation Garden. Conversations on Elvis: ’68 Special

Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Elvis’ groundbreaking television special “Elvis” – or known to many fans as the “’68 Comeback Special.” Hosted by Tom Brown, special guests will include: '68 Special director/producer Steve Binder; musical director Billy Goldenberg; write Allan Blye, guitarist Mike Deasy; and Tanya Lemani George, the belly dancer who performed during “Little Egypt." Hosted by Tom Brown, hear from those who connection from Elvis varies from personal to professional. Special guests this year include: Ann Moses, who was editor at “Tiger Beat Magazine” from 1965 – 1972 and sat on the stage for Elvis’ “’68 Comeback Special,” toured Elvis’ and Colonel Parker’s offices, observed filming for “Change of Habit” and attended Elvis’ opening show in July 1969 in Vegas; Billy Blackwood, James Blackwood’s younger son, who toured with Voice, the opening act for the Elvis Presley in the 1970s; Donna Rhodes Morris, who was called to American Sound Studios by Chips Moman to sing harmony on the original Elvis recordings of Elvis’ “In The Ghetto,” “Kentucky Rain” and “Suspicious Minds”; Elvis' friend and country star TG Sheppard; and Mark Kogan, who worked with Concerts West to promote Elvis' concert tours. Elvis Week Brunch

9:30 AM. Grand Ballroom, The Guest House at Graceland. $45  
Enjoy a classic Memphis breakfast buffet at The Guest House while enjoying special Elvis programming. Hosted by Tom Brown, our special guest for this event will be TCB band member Ronnie Tutt, who played drums for Elvis both on-stage and in the studio from 1969 to 1977. Elvis Live in Concert - with an All-Star Band

Celebrate the King of Rock 'n' Roll's greatest hits with Elvis live in concert and on the big screen, in the tradition of Elvis’ legendary, live concert tours. A live, rock ‘n’ roll all-star band will accompany Elvis and bring this stage production to life at Graceland with former members of The Stamps Quartet and a very special guest appearance by TCB band member Ronnie Tutt. A not-to-be-missed concert event. Elvis Week Entertainment Tent 

August 10-18. Graceland. 
Continuous presentation of Elvis music performed live by various singers and bands, plus other activities. A schedule of the Elvis Week entertainment tent will be available at the Elvis Week information table upon arrival in Memphis. Must have Elvis Week Property Pass for access.*
*Elvis Week Property Pass is not for sale, but free with any ticket purchase that includes Elvis Presley’s Memphis. The pass allows entrance to the Elvis Week Entertainment Tent, free parking after 5:00 p.m., and access to the procession line up to Meditation Garden during the Candlelight Vigil on August 15.

Lowell Hays Trunk Show

Meet artist Betty Harper and see her Elvis Week exhibit, which will focus on Elvis in the Army and the '68 Special. Her artwork is available to view from 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM daily at the Gift Shop.



Morning and Evening Walk Ups to Meditation Garden   

Daily throughout the year, there is a special period of time for free admission walk up visits to the Meditation Garden at Graceland. Elvis Week morning walk ups will be from 7:30 a.m. - 8:15 a.m. on August 10-15 and from 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. August 17-19. Morning walk ups may not be available on August 16 due to the Candlelight Vigil. For morning walk-ups, guests must exit the mansion grounds before Graceland tours begin. Elvis Week evening walk ups will be from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on August 10-14 and August 16-18. Evening walk-ups will not be available the night of August 15 due to the Candlelight Vigil.
