Watch the Elvis Birthday Proclamation Ceremony

Happy birthday, Elvis!

The King of Rock 'n' Roll was born 85 years ago today, and this morning, fans from around the world celebrated Elvis' birthday at the annual Birthday Proclamation Ceremony at Graceland.

Hosted by SiriusXM Elvis Radio DJ Argo, the ceremony featured Graceland CEO Jack Soden, Graceland Holdings LLC managing partner Joel Weinshanker, Memphis Tourism CEO Kevin Kane, Elvis' close friend Jerry Schilling and Priscilla Presley.

It was also announced at the proclamation that a new Elvis artifact is now on display at Graceland: his childhood bicycle. Elvis' father, Vernon, purchased the bike for Elvis when he was about 11 years old and it has been stored in the Smokehouse at Graceland for years. The Graceland Archives team had the bike restored, and it's now on display in the Trophy Building.
