Wall Street Journal: Drag-Racer John Force Calls "Viva Las Vegas" His Anthem

In a special interview on the Wall Street Journal, 16-time National Hot Rod Association Funny Car champion John Force talks about how Elvis' "Viva Las Vegas" gets him into "fight mode for a million-dollar moment."

"I heard Elvis sing 'Viva Las Vegas' on the radio. I was 15 and living in my first car - a '60 blue Ford Fairlane with fins," writes Force. "Today I drive a Lincoln pickup truck, and a CD of Elvis singing "Viva Las Vegas" starts when I turn on the ignition."

John Force, like Elvis, grew up poor and had dreams of making it big. He says "Viva Las Vegas" represents the dream and the "determination you need to succeed."
