Salute Dad at Graceland's Father’s Day Weekend Celebration, June 14 – June 16

Unforgettable weekend with two shows featuring the legendary Don McLean and Boz Scaggs live on the Soundstage at Graceland, famous Memphis BBQ and a night of whiskey and cigars. Packages on-sale now.

There’s no better time or place to celebrate Father’s Day than Elvis Presley’s Graceland, and on June 14 – 16, 2019, Graceland will offer the perfect “thank you” to dad with its Father’s Day Weekend Celebration. Summertime in Memphis is always an incredible season, and guests visiting Graceland can relive their best memories with dad or create an all-new set to cherish for a lifetime.

Fans of delicious food will be treated to a special dinner at Presley Motors, a Southern-style Father’s Day Blues Brunch and, for guests that enjoy authentic Memphis BBQ, they’ll have an opportunity to “Grill with the Master.” Ernie Mellor, renowned Grill Master and contestant on the hit series “Chopped,” will lead a master class in BBQ and grilling and share his world-class expertise, while walking guests through preparing their own delicious meals.

Memphis is recognized worldwide as the “home of the Blues” and the “birthplace of rock ‘n’ roll,” and Graceland’s Father’s Day Weekend Celebration lives up to those honors with a doubleheader of concerts from two legendary artists on the Soundstage at Graceland. On Saturday, June 15, multi-platinum singer/songwriter Don McLean will take the stage.

On Sunday, June 16, the GRAMMY award-winning Boz Scaggs will bring his iconic voice and gritty guitar skills to Memphis.

Throughout the weekend, guests will be treated to tours of the iconic Graceland mansion, the Elvis Presley’s Memphis entertainment complex and experience the brand-new Graceland Exhibition Center featuring three fantastic exhibits: Muhammad Ali: Greatest of All Time, Memphis Music Legends and A Century of the American Motorcycle.

Memphis has been voted the top destination to visit in 2019 by Frommers, Trip Savvy and Lonely Planet among other publications. Graceland is the only attraction in the world to receive six 10Best USA Today Reader awards. TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards named Graceland one of the top 25 landmarks in the world and Rolling Stone named it one of 10 Great American Music Landmarks. With Memphis celebrating its Bicentennial in 2019 and hosting special events throughout the city, this is the perfect time for dad to visit.

Packages for Graceland’s Father’s Day Celebration Weekend, including discounted rates at the Guest House at Graceland Hotel and Resort, are on-sale now. For more information, including a complete schedule, visit www.graceland.com/fathers-day-weekend-celebration.
