Priscilla Presley Talks "Shades of Elvis" with Huffington Post

A new photography book titled "Shades of Elvis" features photos of over 75 celebrities, including famous musicians, actors, sports figures and television personalities - all wearing Elvis' famous gold shades. Elvis fans can now check out an exclusive one-on-one interview with one of the book's authors - Priscilla Presley - where she discusses the inspiration behind the book, some of the famous names featured and her relationship with the king. See the complete interview by visiting HuffingtonPost.com.

"When Christopher (Ameruoso) first approached me about his idea I thought what a great idea, to have people with such popularity that would give their quote on how Elvis inspired them, how he changed their lives or touched their lives in some way,'" says Presley.

Priscilla also talks about the origins of those famous shades and how they've been preserved in the Graceland Archives for all of these years. She also gives a little insight into Elvis' feelings towards his fans and why she thinks its so important to preserve his legacy.

"For me, it's all about keeping his legacy now and in the future. Keeping him current. There's a bit of an edge to the book. It's in black and white, simple and understated but impactful with content. Elvis always had an edge and I feel this book represents him well."
