Peter Guralnick's Sam Phillips Biography Out Now in Paperback, eBook

Peter Guralnick's latest book, "Sam Phillips: The Man Who Invented Rock 'n' Roll," is out now in paperback and enhanced eBook.


Guralnick, who also penned the award-winning two-part Elvis biographies, "Last Train to Memphis" and "Careless Love," tells the story of Sam Phillips, who singlehandedly steered the revolutionary path of Sun Records.  


The enhanced eBook features exclusive video clips featuring Guralnick's interviews with Sam, his family, and his Sun Studios collaborators Jack Clement, Roland James, and J.M. Van Eaton, as well as rare audio interviews with Sam, spanning 1979 to 1990, as well as audio interviews with Carl Perkins, Billy Sherrill, and Sam's former assistant Marion Keister.
