Director of Public Relations and Operations Manager, Sun Studio
Jayne Ellen Brooks has been working at The Legendary Sun Studio in Memphis for seven years. Brooks’ love of music began as a child when her parents exposed her to great American classics like Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, and of course Elvis Presley. A military brat, she moved all over the country and attended 10 public schools before going to Temple University in Philadelphia. Brooks moved to Memphis in 2006 specifically in hopes of working at The Legendary Sun Studio. She says, “I’ve lived everywhere and never thought I would find a place that I wanted to stay forever, but Memphis is my home. There is no other place like it, and I feel lucky to be working so closely with its important history.” Jayne Ellen Brooks wears many different hats at Sun but her favorite thing to do is to talk to the tourists about rock 'n' roll.
Third Generation Owner, Lansky Bros.
Julie Lansky is the third generation in her family's retail business, Lansky Bros. She was born and raised in Memphis and attended University of Colorado at Boulder where she majored in Advertising in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. The original Lansky store at 126 Beale became the fashion headquarters to musicians and the clothes savvy, including B.B. King, Isaac Hayes, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Rufus Thomas. It did not take long for Lansky Bros. to build a repertoire with gospel, blues, soul, and rock 'n roll musicians. However, it was Elvis Presley who helped establish Bernard Lansky, Julie's grandfather, as Clothier to the King and allowed for global recognition.
Marketing Director, Sony Music Entertainment/Legacy Recordings
Proud to share hometown pride with the likes of Tom Hanks, Sam Elliot, CAKE, and other notable Sacramentans, Marisa is an industry vet with a love of all musical genres which helped form the foundation of what's popular today. After a successful stint in radio following college, she moved to NYC to pursue her dream of working for the incredible artist roster at Columbia Records. She helped foster the development of talents including Brandi Carlile, The Fray, Natasha Bedingfield, Coheed and Cambria and several others via grassroots marketing and a 'roll-up-your-sleeves' attitude that still characterizes her today. In making a transition to Legacy Recordings, she was able to prove her dedication to the label's mission of preserving the recordings which make up the Sony Music Entertainment catalog by developing innovative marketing campaigns to engage new and existing fans year after year. She is extremely honored to steer the ship on Elvis Presley music campaigns, which include "Prince From Another Planet", "Elvis: As Recorded At Madison Square Garden", "Elvis At Stax", "I Am An Elvis Fan", "Bossa Nova Baby," and more to be announced as we approach what would have been Elvis' 80th Birthday in 2015.
Former leader and manager of the EAS Band and co-owner of Product Recording Company

He has performed with the TCB Band, The Stamps Quartet, The Imperials, The Blackwood Quartet, The Sweet Inspirations, The Jordanaires, DJ Fontana and was a part of The Joe Guercio Orchestra in 2013.
