Meet the 2019 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest Judges

We are excited to announce the judge’s line-up for the 2019 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest.

The judges will select the winner of the 2019 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest based who they feel best represents the legacy of Elvis Presley. They'll evaluate the semifinalists in the areas of vocals, appearance, stage presence and overall performance quality.

Brett Batterson is the President & CEO of the Orpheum Theatre Group. Prior to his role at the Orpheum, Batterson spent 11 years as Executive Director of the national historic landmark Auditorium Theatre in Chicago. In that role, he created three successful city-wide festivals (Miles Davis Festival, Billy Strayhorn Festival, and The Music + Movement Festival).


Marybeth Conley is an Emmy Award-winning broadcast journalist with WREG-TV, News Channel 3 in Memphis. She joined WREG in 1985 as an investigative consumer reporter and news anchor and in 2002, helped develop the Emmy-nominated [email protected] program, to highlight positive stories across the Mid-South. Marybeth also hosts The Marybeth Conley Show on KWAM 990 where she focuses on financial, physical and mental wellness, personal development, leadership and faith.


With the release of her 2018 singles, “Bloodline” and “Monster” along with their companion music videos, Harper Grae quickly became a featured artist on CMT, made her iHeart radio debut on the syndicated Bobby Bones Show and stepped onto the global stage. Originally from Reeltown, Alabama, Harper now calls East Nashville home. She is working on new music, which will be released in 2019. 


Holly Whitfield is the Editor of the I Love Memphis Blog. A graduate of The University of Memphis, she's lived in Memphis since 2005.
