Meet the 2015 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest Judges

We are excited to announce the five judges who will be charged with the task of choosing the next Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist.

They'll judge the 24 top Elvis tribute artists from across the world to decide who best represents the legacy of Elvis Presley. They'll evaluate the semifinalists in the areas of vocals, appearance, stage presence and overall performance quality.

This year's judges are Sandy Martindale, David Porter, Lisa Grauso, Regena Bearden and Eric Granger. Learn more about our judges below, and be sure to buy your Ultimate ETA Contest tickets!

Sandy Martindale

Sandy became interested in show business when her parents, Mary Lou and Tony Ferra, entered the night club business, and it was at one of the night clubs that she met her first boyfriend, Elvis Presley. They dated for six years, leading to her dancing in "Viva Las Vegas" and several other Elvis movies. During the 70s Sandy learned the intricacies of the live concert business as an associate with Bob Eubank's Concert Express. In this position she worked closely with Dolly Parton and Barbara Mandrell. Sandy met her husband of 40 years, Wink Martindale, in 1971. She is vice-president of Wink Martindale Enterprises, which creates, develops and produces shows for both radio and television. Several years ago Sandy created sunglasses emblazoned with her husband's name and heart. In 2014, she created an additional pair of sunglasses specially for Elvis' Birthday Celebration. The sunglasses have the name of her first love, Elvis, on one side, and the name of her last love, Wink, on the other. An Elvis version of these sunglasses are now exclusively sold at Graceland and Shop Graceland.

David Porter

David Porter, internationally renowned songwriter and producer, is a Memphis native. He is a cornerstone of the legendary Stax Records of Memphis. He began his tenure at Stax Records before it was called Stax, and became the first African-American staff songwriter fort the company. Within two years, Isaac Hayes joined him as his co-writing partner and they became one of the top songwriting and producing teams in the country. Porter's songs have sold more than 300 million units worldwide. His most successful songs are "Soul Man," "Hold On I'm Coming," "When Something is Wrong With My Baby" and "I Thank You," to name a few. He also wrote Mariah Carey's hit "Dream Lover" and "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It" by Will Smith. In June 2005, David was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. He continues to write and produce, and he's a successful entrepreneur.

Lisa Grauso

Born and raised in New Jersey, Lisa began her career with Sony Music Entertainment almost 12 years ago. As a Director of Sales for Sony Music Entertainment, Lisa works primarily with the company's vast and influential deep catalog, as well as working with "non-traditional" retailers (such as grocery stores, drug chains and specialty retailers) in order to expand the reach of the music. Lisa is also a lifelong Elvis fan and considers the opportunity to work with and find new opportunities for Elvis' music catalog, arguably one of the greatest in music history, a personal honor.

Regena Bearden

Marketing Memphis as the Home of the Blues and the Birthplace of Rock 'n' Roll comes easy to Regena Bearden. As the Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations at the Memphis Convention & Visitors Bureau, Regena leverages more than 20 years of experience in branding, online and traditional markets and PR, including advertising programs in both domestic and international markets for Memphis and Shelby County. Her tested and trusted expertise has resulted in numerous campaigns including the "50 Years of Rock 'n' Roll" ambassador program which included an ambassador program of Memphis icons including Justin Timberlake, B.B. King, Sam the Sham and Isaac Hayes. The campaign garnered over $30 million in PR for Memphis and the surrounding area.

Eric Granger

Eric Granger enters his sixth year as vice president of arena operations for Memphis Basketball LLC, supervising and directing the event booking, facility operations, guest services and facility contractors at FedExForum. Eric also serves as a liaison with key client contracts and community leaders. Eric also served as director of event services for the Pyramid Arena and the Memphis Cook Convention Center from 2001-05. During that time, Eric facilitated the opening of the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts and also planned and coordinated the 2002 Mike Tyson-Lennox Lewis Heavyweight Championship bout. Active with multiple community committees and organizations, he's a member of the International Association of Venue Managers, Country Music Association and International Entertainment Buyers Association.
