The hamburger you relish this weekend at E.P.’s Bar & Grill at The Guest House at Graceland will go much further than just satisfying your taste buds.
Starting Friday, May 26, all hamburgers served at the restaurant will send a 15 percent donation to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital Neuro Endowment Fund, and all the hamburger money raised will be matched dollar-for-dollar by Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare. Now, that’s a great way to celebrate National Hamburger Day!
“We are honored to be working with Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital to help raise money for the Neuro Institute,” said Keith Hess, vice president and managing director of the hotel resort.
Since opening in October 2016, one of the most talked about menu items at The Guest House at Graceland is Chef Kurtis Johnson’s Memphis Burger, which consists of a half-pound of signature house-blended beef, American cheese, pepper bacon, fried green tomatoes, tumbleweed onions and E.P.’s special burger sauce.
“This is the best burger in Memphis, so we will probably sell a lot of these over the weekend,” predicted Chef Johnson.
The event begins during lunch service on Friday, May 26 and continues through the weekend, ending at dinner on Monday, May 29. Additional donations can be made to the Neuro Endowment Fund at E.P.’s as well.
