2018 Elvis' Birthday Celebration Schedule, Special Guests Announced

Join us in Memphis as we celebrate Elvis' birthday!

The annual Elvis' Birthday Celebration is January 5-8 at Graceland. The schedule has been announced and includes the Elvis Birthday Proclamation Ceremony, Elvis Birthday Brunch, the Fan Club Presidents' Event, Graceland Evening Tour and Reception, the Auction at Graceland and much more.

Our special guests are listed below:

Larry Domasin

Larry was eight years old when the was chose by producer Hall Wallis to star with Elvis in "Fun in Acapulco." He played the role of Raoul Almeido, who became Elvis’ showbiz manager in the film, booking him in some of Acapulco’s hottest nightspots. Larry then went on to star in other films with actors such as James Stewart, Marlon Brando, Maureen O’Hara, Barbara Stanwyck, Pat Boone among others.  Currently, Larry is a Controller, as well as a Director of Business Development, for a prestigious architectural firm in Southern California. 

Victoria Paige Meyerink

The original voice for Mattel’s Chatty Cathy, Victoria’s career soared at the age of four when she became Danny Kaye’s co-star on his popular CBS Variety Series. She went on to co-star with Elvis Presley and Nancy Sinatra in MGM’s “Speedway” as well as “Brainstorm” with Anne Francis, “Seconds” with Rock Hudson, and “Night of the Grizzly” with Clint Walker and Martha Hyer. On television she was a regular on the popular series “Green Acres,” “My Three Sons,” “Family Affair,” and dozens more. In 2006, Victoria received the Young Artist Awards’ Former Child Star Lifetime Achievement Award. As a producer, “Finding Home,” was released theatrically followed by television and DVD, and earned her the Excellence in Producing Award at the Montreal World Film Festival as well as 21 other honors including 5 Best Picture Awards. When she’s not meeting with Elvis fans, lecturing at universities, on set or recording, Victoria loves to travel and is a talented and creative chef.  

Rex and Elisabeth Mansfield

Rex Mansfield was inducted into the Army on the same day as Elvis in March 1958 and went through basic training with him in Texas, traveled with him to Germany and became close friends for the next 18 months. Elisabeth Stefaniak was a young German girl in 1958, and was hired to answer Elvis' fan mail. Elisabeth became romantically involved with Elvis, but was torn between her love for Elvis and her love for Rex – and she eventually chose Rex and they married in 1960.

Evelyn Helms

Evelyn Carter Helms and Elvis Presley were sixth-grade classmates at Milam Junior High School in Tupelo, Mississippi. Evelyn, a Tupelo native, recalls that was the year Elvis received his first guitar and how he learned to play the instrument that year. She was also in attendance at Elvis' 1957 Tupelo concert and can point out herself and several classmates in the audience.
