More Special Guests Announced for Birthday Celebration

Elvis' 80th birthday will be celebrated at Graceland with a host of Elvis fans and special guests, including Priscilla Presley. Vanderbilt Melodores Win The Sing-Off

Congratulations to the Vanderbilt Melodores, winners of NBC's two-hour special holiday edition of "The Sing-Off," which aired Wednesday night. Elvis' Friend Bill Superfoot Wallace to Speak at Conversations on Elvis

Bill "Superfoot" Wallace, a friend of Elvis' and karate champion, will join author Peter Guralnick as a speaker at Conversations on Elvis on Thursday, January 8. Wallace retired as the undefeated Professional Karate Association Middleweight Champion in June 1980 after defeating Robert Biggs in a 12-round bout. Remembering Elvis Back-up Singer Millie Kirkham

One of Elvis' most beloved back-up singers, Millie Kirkham, passed away on Sunday in Nashville. Millie, 91, suffered a stroke last week. Millie is best known for coming up with, and performing, the famous "woo-ooh-ooh" part in "Blue Christmas." Elvis didn't want to record the song and told Millie and her fellow singers to sing something so silly that RCA would never release it.
