Below are the Elvis tribute artists who will compete in the Semifinal Round of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest during Elvis Week 2022 in Memphis.
TIM E. HENDRY
Representing the Branson Elvis Festival
Tim E. Hendry is from Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, where he currently performs at Steven Best’s Smoky Mountain Theatre. Tim's late father, Diamond Jim, inspired him to become an Elvis tribute artist. As a child, Tim spent many hours watching Elvis movies and concerts with his parents. Tim's favorite Elvis song is "How Great Thou Art."

Representing the Nashville Elvis Festival
Michael Chambliss grew up in the small southern town of Purvis, MS. His early musical influences were gospel quartets. After years of traveling with various gospel quartets and country groups, Michael began his Elvis tribute artist career in 2013. Michael’s hobbies outside of entertainment include golf, running and collecting records, plus he was once a champion ping pong player. His favorite Elvis song is “Moody Blue.”
COTE DEONATH
Representing The Elvis FANtasy Fest
Cote Deonath is a Florida native who discovered Elvis at the age of 2 when his grandmother showed him “Follow That Dream” for the first time. Some of Cote’s hobbies include graphic designing, producing festivals and fitness. The one word he uses to describe Elvis is “electric,” and his favorite Elvis song lyric is “There must be lights burning brighter somewhere.” His favorite Elvis song is “How Great Thou Art.”
ANDY KING*
Representing The Lone Star Elvis Festival (2020)
Andy King of Sulzfeld, Germany, discovered Elvis at the age of six by watching his movies on television. Andy’s favorite Elvis song is “We Can Make The Morning” and his favorite song to perform is “Suspicious Minds.” Formerly a police officer, Andy left the force to become an Elvis tribute artist full-time. He says it’s so important to him to keep Elvis’ music alive.
Brendon chase*
Representing Cooly Rocks On Elvis Festival (2021)
Brendon is from Twizel, New Zealand. In addition to being an Elvis tribute artist, he is also a police officer and was in the military for 20 years. Brendon enjoys singing, gym work and riding his Harley. He discovered Elvis by watching "Aloha from Hawaii" - and his favorite Elvis song is "You Gave Me A Mountain."
* Qualifying Elvis tribute artists from 2020 and 2021 who were unable to travel to Memphis due to COVID-19 travel restrictions will be allowed to compete in the 2022 Ultimate ETA Contest Semifinal Round.
