Elvis Week

Elvis Week Goes A Cappella

We are excited to announce an all-new event at the Elvis Week Main Stage this year as Elvis goes a cappella. This exciting 60-minute Elvis show will feature some of the country’s top a cappella groups - Kentucky's Acoustikats, Florida State University's All-Night Yahtzee, The James Madison University BluesTones, The Vanderbilt Melodores, and Memphis' own Briarcrest OneVoice. Listen as they harmonize, beat box and dance to some of Elvis’ greatest hits – and some fan-favorites as well.

Individual tickets to each performance are $10.

Tickets for the following a cappella events are available through Graceland Reservations by calling 800-238-2000 or 901-332-3322 or by purchasing tickets online here.

Hailing from the commonwealth of Kentucky, these 'Kats got their start serenading sororities at the University of Kentucky 21 years ago, but have recently taken their music to a whole new level. In 2013, the Acoustikats appeared on Season 4 of NBC's hit a cappella competition "The Sing Off" and have since had the opportunity to perform at many venues across the country from the Azalea Festival in Wilmington, North Carolina, to the "Sing Off Live Tour" at Lousiville's Palace Theatre.  Learn more about this group by visiting Acoustikats.com.

All-Night Yahtzee

Elvis A Cappella: A Tribute to the King
All-Night Yahtzee is a co-ed a cappella group beginning its 17th year at Florida State University. Yahtzee performs a variety of events year-round in their hometown of Tallahassee, Florida, and are so excited to be in Memphis! They compete in the International Competition for Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) annually and had a very successful run this year coming in first place at their quarterfinal and third at their semifinal. They are so grateful for the opportunity to demonstrate how Elvis music transcends time and space. Learn more about this group by visiting the FSU All-Night Yahtzee Facebook page.

Briarcrest OneVoice

Elvis A Cappella: A Tribute to the King
Under the direction of J.D. Frizzell, OneVoice has quickly become a high-profile musical entity at Briarcrest Christian School, throughout the Mid-South, and around the United States. Performing popular music of many styles and periods, OneVoice incorporates blues, jazz, rock, R&B, pop, and more into their repertoire. Annually, the ensemble records an album in one of the best studios in the region, The Grove. Vanderbilt Melodores

Elvis A Cappella: A Tribute to the King

In 2011, the Melodores placed third in the world at the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) Finals in New York City. In 2013, they placed third in the SoJam A Cappella Festival's Collegiate Competition, and in 2014 they placed first in their ICCA Quarterfinal.
